Netflix to Enter Russia

US streaming service, Netflix is set to launch in Russia this month according to reports in the country.
Initially, the service will only be available on Smart TV and licensed content will added in the future. Netflix is currently producing its own content for its French and Spanish speaking subscribers.
The expansion into Russia follows a busy year for the streaming service. In 2015, Netflix launched in; Japan, Cuba, New Zealand, Italy, Spain and Portugal. Reports suggest that the company plans make the service available in as many as 200 countries by the end of 2016, including the vast Indian market.
Currently in over 40 countries, the streaming service boasts 70 million subscribers, most of them in the United States.
Netflix was founded in California in 1997.
