New Mobile Operator Launched in Slovakia

Slovak Post has launched a new mobile operator in Slovakia, the fourth in the country.
Called Štvorka or 4KA, the operator has launched its services from the country’s 1,500 post offices. Presently, it will only be a pre paid service, where the user purchases credit from Slovak Post outlets in the country.
The company is sure to shake up Slovakia’s mobile market. It is being reported in the national press that prices will be half of what other competitors charge. The price for data will also be lower than other operators in the country.
The company already covers 40% of Slovakia’s territory. It is being reported that they are purchasing coverage from one of the three other mobile operators; Orange, Telekom and O2. However, the identity if the provider is not yet known.
