With a marked improvement in the residential property market in Bratislava, some major developments are coming back to life.
One such project is Culenova, a project of five high rise buildings near the city centre designed by Zaha Hadid Architects.
It will include 800 apartments in three buildings of 105 metres in height. The other two buildings of 78 and 116 in height will contain 50,000 square metres of office space. The four hectare project was initially launched in 2010.
The buildings will surround a protected former heating plant of historical value. It is unclear at present what the former heating plant will be used for, but a public space of some description is expected.
The launch of the sale of the apartments will begin in the first half of next year, with completion of the first phase of the project expected some time in 2019.
