China to Move Production into Eastern Russia

China has proposed moving some of its manufacturing into Eastern Russia following a delegation visit to Beijing.
The head of the Russia Ministry for Development, Alexander Galushka was in Beijing, where the Chinese government suggested an initiative to transfer production facilities in 12 different industries to Russia.
The industries put forward include; chemical, shipbuilding, cement and textile industries according to reports.
China is ready to involve public and private companies to implement projects, utilising the port of Vladivostok and other economic zones in the region, which will receive tax benefits and administrative preferences.
The Russian Ministry stated that Chinese enterprises will be welcome, so long as they complied with Russian environmental standards.
