Kofola Soft Drinks to Move Headquarters to Czech Republic

Kofola Jaroslava Musilová, one of Central and Eastern Europe’s largest soft drinks manufacturers, is to move its headquarters from Poland to the Czech Republic.
The company is moving from the Polish city of Kutno, 160 km from Warsaw, to Ostrava in the Czech Republic.
In addition, the company which currently floats on the Warsaw Stock Exchange is considering issuing shares on the Prague Stock Exchange.
Kofola already employ 700 of its 2,300 staff in the Czech Republic. It operates eight plants between Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Russia and the Czech Republic.
The drinks manufacturer was originally founded in Czechoslovakia in 1959 and is proud of its status as being a primary competitor in the region to drinks giants Coca Cola and Pepsi.
The majority shareholder in Kofola is Luxembourg based KSM Investment.
